For every skill level of the Cabin character, increase Sailor Morale cap by 3%, companion ship captain increases the probability of salvo.
- The max Morale of all ships is increased by 3% per rank of Leadership on all currently assigned captains (including support ships).
The formula is approximately:
Base Morale + SUM(1, n)[floor(Base Morale * 0.03 * Leadership(n))], where n is the number of assigned captains
Larger ships have higher base morale; some ships have different base morale values.
A newly acquired ship will have only its base morale, all support captains must be reassigned for the morale to be recalculated correctly.
- Support ship salvo probability is equal to 5% * Leadership of the support captain.
- Morale is visible by going into the Fleet category of the menus and looking at the stats for a given ship (morale is on a ship-by-ship basis).
- Using the "Treat" option in a tavern will only restore the Morale on ships that are currently part of the fleet, not docked ships.
- Morale is lost at a rate of 2/day on every ship. (Not to be confused with the little heart visible in the top right while sailing which is crew happiness, it decreases by 1/day).
