The landscape of this place resembles a snow-white castle, with clear spring water flowing between staggered milky white terraces. And it is said that these strata were dried and solidified cotton abandoned by the giants, hence the name "Pamukkale". Rumor has it that a long time ago, an ancient city once sat on top of the "Cotton Castle", but it was destroyed by a massive earthquake.
