The highest mountain in Africa, with snow covering its top. It is hard to imagine that there is a snowy mountain in such a hot region. Ptolemy had marked this snowy mountain located near the equator on his map, but people found it hard to believe that there was a snowy mountain at the equator and removed it from the map later on.
