It was near the end of the day when Yukiko finally came back, with the mask still attached to her waist.
Only when the lights came in sight did the Sozu catch up with Yukiko. The Sozu was surprised, "I was hoping to discuss Buddhism with master, but I didn't expect Yukiko to be so fast. The general is nowhere to be found now. The two are probably in a fight."
Just when the Sozu was lost in thought, Yukiko seemed to have seen someone, pulling the mask off and throwing it into the guarding pool outside Nagasaki City. The general approached the two from the city and asked, "Master, what is the Dvesha for?"
Knowing that the general was actually trying to ask about someone else, the Sozu answered, "I was looking for someone for the whole night, even the gagaku performance was interrupted.
Now that we finally meet, he didn't even come to me."
"He must have his own reasons, but he really shouldn't leave without even saying. An apology is well deserved", the general steps into the pool slowly, hoping to find the mask and return it to Yukiko. If the two could settle this conflict, they will make one another wiser—that was the only thought in the Sozu's mind.
