The following words are organized from the oral account of an elder living near Lima. The elder is said to be a tribal warrior serving as something similar to a royal escort before the invasion of foreign culture, with outstanding memory about dates and events.
Around the Seedling Festival.
The priest kept the door closed. And without orders from the chief, we could only leave
him alone. However, the priest had been staying indoors for three days since his return to the tribe. Even his closest servants have no idea about what was going on.
After another three days, the priest finally stepped outside, still looking radiant after eating nothing for days. Having talked to the chief, he leads three tribal warriors (me included) and ten craftsmen on an eight-day trip before reaching the high points of Southwest Mountains. Looking down from the plateau, we see never-before-seen patterns shaped as trees, birds, fish, monkeys, and other strange things we have never seen before.
We once walked on these White Grooves. We finally understand why the priest stayed indoors for that long—he was praying for the wisdom of ancestors...
After finding the best location, the priest asks the craftsmen to record the words left by the gods.
Attached are pictures painted in Andes by guild painters.
